1. Introduction
This policy explains what personal data mionlinecasino.com processes when you read the site or write to us, and what you can do about it. The site is published from Michigan and written for adults in Michigan, but readers can open it from anywhere. Where a reader is protected by the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) or the UK GDPR, the rights and legal bases below apply to them in full.
2. Overview and key terms
The short version: we do not run analytics, set tracking cookies or offer accounts, so there is no cookie banner because there is nothing to consent to. The only data we handle is the technical data every web request carries, and the content of any email you send us.
- Personal data is any information that relates to an identifiable person, such as an IP address or an email address.
- Processing means anything done with that data, from receiving it to storing or deleting it.
- Controller is whoever decides why and how the data is processed; for this site, that is us.
- Processor is a service provider that handles data on the controller’s behalf, such as our host.
3. Data controller and privacy contact
The controller for this site is mionlinecasino.com, 111 N Groesbeck Hwy, Mt Clemens, MI 48043, United States, the same details as in our Legal Notice.
We have not appointed a data protection officer, because the law does not require one for a site of this size and kind. All privacy questions and requests go to one address, [email protected], and are answered by the person who runs the site.
4. Categories of data, purposes and legal basis
Server request data. When you load a page, the server and our content delivery network receive your IP address, the page requested, the date and time, the referring page, and your browser’s user agent. We need this to deliver the page and to keep the site safe from attacks and abuse. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in running a secure, working website (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)).
Email. If you write to us, we process your email address and your message only to answer you. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in replying to the people who contact us (Art. 6(1)(f)), or steps you asked for before a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)).
Clicks to casino operators. When you follow a “Play Here” link, you leave this site. The operator may set its own cookies and processes your data under its own privacy policy, which we do not control. We receive no personal data about you from the operator.
We do not use your data for advertising profiles, do not sell or rent it, and do not make automated decisions about you.
5. Recipients of data
We share data only with the service providers that keep the site running, each bound by its own data protection terms:
- Hetzner Online GmbH hosts the site in its Falkenstein data center, Germany, and processes server request data. Hetzner privacy policy
- Cloudflare, Inc. provides DNS, the content delivery network and protection against attacks, and processes server request data. Cloudflare privacy policy
Cloudflare may process data in the United States and other countries. For transfers out of the EU or UK it relies on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses. We disclose data to authorities only where the law obliges us to.
6. Data storage and deletion
Server request data is kept only as long as needed for delivery and security: log entries are deleted automatically after no more than 30 days, unless a specific entry is needed to investigate an attack, in which case it is kept until that is closed. Cloudflare keeps its own logs under the periods set out in its privacy policy.
Emails are deleted once your question is settled and no follow-up is expected, and at the latest after 12 months, unless the law requires us to keep them longer.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you can ask us at any time to tell you what data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, restrict its use, or hand it to you in a portable format. You can also object to processing based on our legitimate interest.
Requests go to [email protected]; we answer within one month. If you think we have handled your data wrongly, you can also complain to the data protection authority where you live or work.
8. Data security
The whole site is served only over an encrypted HTTPS connection, so the pages you read cannot be read or altered on the way. Server access is limited to the people who maintain the site, and the hosting and network providers above run their own technical and organizational security measures. No transmission over the internet is completely secure, which is one more reason the site collects as little as it does.
We update this policy when the way the site works changes; the date at the top shows the latest version.
